Summary

The output of the polar discriminator is the frequency deviation of the input FM signal. FM broadcast stations in the US use deviation values between 75 kHz (the typical value) up to ~82 kHz (in some instances). By setting the "Gain" value in the Quadrature Demod block to samp_rate/(2*pi), the output will have amplitude values of the deviation of the FM carrier.
