Google Summer of Code[edit]

Google Summer of Code is a global, online program focused on bringing new contributors into open source software development. GSoC Contributors work with an open source organization on a 12+ week programming project under the guidance of mentors. (GSoC Website). GNU Radio has participated in GSoC since 2012 with a high success rate.

People interested in participating should read the participant instructions and the rules and expectations.

ESA Summer of Code in Space[edit]

SOCIS: The "ESA Summer of Code in Space" is a GSoC-inspired, yet different event sponsored by the European Space Agency (Website. GNU Radio participated in SOCIS from 2015 through 2017.
